So my Internal Medicine board exam is at daybreak, it’s 3 am, and I have been tossing and turning in bed for the past hour. I cannot say I’m nervous, but obviously my body is telling me otherwise. I cannot sleep!
I went to bed at a decent hour, 9 pm, not crazy early, but maybe a couple of hours earlier than I usually do. So why can I not sleep?
The last time I couldn’t sleep before an exam was for the USMLE I which I took before starting the third year of medical school. Then I was truly nervous, sick to my stomach and all.
Oh if only I could sleep!
